Duxbury – Atlantic Ocean side – Special note: water is warmer as tide goes out!  Bayside is always much warmer.  A Duxbury phenomenon is a stream of 4-wheel drive vehicles sitting by the water from the second walkover on down at the Duxbury Beach.  It's fabulous fun going out for the day with pets, kids, food and equipment.  Just be sure not to be the first or the last to get there - just in case you get stuck!
Shipyard Lane – More private beach -just for the residents. Great raft and great clamming nearby (don't forget to get a permit for clamming at Town Hall)!
