ADULT SOCIAL EVENTS

Fall Kick-Off
Traditionally held at the Nathaniel Winsor, Jr. House, home of the Duxbury Rural and Historical Society, this adult-only event in September is the official start to our active year of events. Members and potential members are invited to join the fun with beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres provided by the club.

Escape the Winter Blues
We try to keep things lively with our winter social. Past years’ activities have included a very successful chili cook off and beer tasting as well as progressive dinners. Hosted by members, the winter social falls just when we all most need an evening out!

Spring Social
As the seasons turn, our spring social is a very fun, relaxed event for all to come and enjoy some good food and great company. Held each year at a member’s home, we all bring a favorite appetizer and a little something to drink. We always get a great mix of newer members as well as more familiar faces as we share an evening with old friends and new before the start of the summer.

Wine Tasting
Join us every other month for an evening of wine tasting and education. A different member hosts each event and we enjoy a lesson from an outside expert on the subtleties of wine. We've explored different wine regions, seasonal wines and holiday pairings, and regardless of the focus we always enjoy great wine and good conversation.
