Annual Spring House Tour
A tradition for more than 20 years, the fundraising chairs choose several homes around Duxbury representing different periods and styles. The homeowners open their homes for self-guided tours by ticket holders. Each homeowner chooses a charity and the proceeds of the tour are divided evenly between the homes and donated to the designated charities. Our 2008 house tour drew in over two hundred people and more than $6,000!

Silhouette Portraits
At the annual Holly Days, Duxbury’s kick-off to the holiday season, the Newcomers’ Club provides the opportunity to have silhouettes hand-drawn by one of only two silhouette artists in New England. Sign up for an appointment and bring your children to have their images captured in this classic art form. Carol can also draw from a photograph and she is not limited to our human loved ones. A number of Duxbury residents have had their dogs drawn too! Proceeds from the event are used for donations to local charities.
